Specify the format settings for the export, which control how numeric values are formatted, date/time formatting, as well as date/time filtering:

- Export Name - This is the name which is displayed in the main export list. The export name must be unique.
- File Extension - The extension for all data files created by this export. Select a pre-defined choice or enter your own file extension
- Export Type - Specify either a single file or multiple files. A single file export will be created with the format "ExportName.EXT" where ExportName is the export name defined above, and EXT is the file extension defined above. A multiple file export will create one data file for each symbol, using the format "Symbol.EXT". You can specify what to use for the symbol on the Export Symbols tab.
- Export Folder - This is the folder to write all export files to.
- Export Automatically after Update - When checked, this export will run automatically after a scheduled data update.
- Include Header in Export File - When selected, each export file will have a header with the field names written at the top of the file.
- Export Data in Market Time - All data downloaded from IB is timestamped with the user's current time zone. Check this to export data after adjusting by the market offset defined for the contract's exchange in the Exchanges window.
- Export Date and Time as one field - Select this option to export date/time fields as a single field in the export, with a space between them. This option will be ignored for daily (and longer) timeframes.
- Date Format/Time Format - See Date/Time Formatting.
- First Date to Export - The first date to export data for. All data prior to this date will not be exported.
- Last Date to Export - The last date to export data for. All data after this date will not be exported
- Field Delimiter - The character used to delimit fields in the export file.
- Decimal Separator - The decimal separator character used in numeric formatting. Cannot be the same as the field delimiter.
- Decimal Numeric Format - This format will be applied to Volume and Transaction Count fields. See Numeric Formatting for more information on valid formats.
- Integer Numeric Format - This format will be applied to all price fields (OHLC) as well as weighted average price (WAP). See Numeric Formatting for more information on valid formats.
- Timestamp Format - Choose whether data should be timestamped using the start of the bar or the end of the bar. For example a five minute bar from 12:30 to 12:35 would have a timestamp of 12:30 if start of bar is chosen, but 12:35 if end of bar is chosen. The underlying data remains the same.
- Export Time Filtering - Specifies time filtering to use (if any) on each symbol.
- No Time Filtering - Do not filter data based on time of day
- Filter Using RTH Defined by Contract - This option specifies that each contract will be filtered based on the RTH session assigned to it. If no session is defined for a contract, that contract will not be filtered. You may choose to include data within the assigned RTH session times, or include only data outside of those times (for example to export only pre and post-market trades).
- Custom Filter - This option applies the specified start and/or end times as filters. If start time is entered, all data prior to the start time will not be exported. If end time is entered, all day after the end time will not be exported.
